At Deaconess Abundant Life Communities, we understand that each resident is an individual with their own unique personal history. Our goal is to assist in adding to and enriching their life experiences. Volunteers at Deaconess have chosen to share their expertise and love by donating their time and energy to brighten the lives of elders.
The loyalty, diligence, and creativity of our volunteers and employees makes Deaconess a recognized retirement community with a reputation for quality of care and service. Volunteers are one of our greatest assets, and we rely on them to enhance our care and dedication to the elderly.
A personal interview with the volunteer coordinator will determine where your skills, interest and available time can best be utilized to support the residents at Deaconess. You will attend a new volunteer orientation and receive on-the-job training to prepare you for your volunteer assignment. To learn more about such opportunities, call 978-369-5151 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or email Diane Raposa draposa@nedeaconess.com to arrange a personal interview.
Deaconess Abundant Life Communities
is a non-profit, inter-denominational
provider of health and social services to
older adults since 1889. Our heritage of
care and compassion continues to be the
key to our future as we nurture the
body, mind and spirit of those we have
the privilege to serve.
What makes us unique, is the support,
companionship and happiness that
comes when residents, volunteers and
staff genuinely care about one another.
Volunteers bring a tremendous amount
of spirit, love and concern to our community.
We believe that volunteers are
one of our greatest assets, and we count
on them to help us reach our goals of
service to our elders.
Your generous service is so important,
not only for the way it enriches the lives
of our residents, but also for the way
your volunteering will bless your life. — Reverend Herb Taylor, CEO |
